PARTICIPATING IN SPORT

Self-esteem and confidence are very important to our students’ development. Representing our College develops resilience and maturity.

Sport at Catholic College Bendigo is about encouragement, participation, and success. We strive to create a sense of pride and school spirit through sporting involvement. College Sport enables students to develop their physical and social skills.

Students are introduced to new sports and further develop their ability in the sports they already play.

The House system allows students to participate in athletics and swimming, representing their house and creating a great sense of pride and school spirit.

The College offers a broad range of individual and team sporting activities, including Australian Football, Netball, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Athletics, Swimming, Golf, Tennis, Football (Soccer), Cycling, Badminton, Lawn Bowls, Clay Shooting, Cross Country and Triathlon.
