CCB represented at Victorian Cycling Championships
On Saturday 17 October, Victoria’s best young cyclists competed in the Finals of the Victorian Schools Cycling Championships in Melbourne.
The Final was held prior to stage 6 of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour on the Lygon Street Circuit.
Catholic College Bendigo was represented by two competitors - Finnian Sullivan (JR7) and Imogen Jelbart (VT5), both of whom won through to the finals after unbeatable performances at the regional day held previously at Emu Creek.
Finnian raced in the Men’s U/19 Novice section. He put in a strong performance but was outclassed in the last km to finish mid pack.
Imogen competed in the Women’s U/17 Racing category. Imogen continued her domination on the bike with a convincing win to take back to back VSCC titles.
Congratulations to both Imogen and Finnian on a fantastic effort.
