2007 - Inaugural Reunion
On Saturday 21 April, Catholic College Bendigo welcomed back past students from St Mary's College, Marist Brothers' College, St Vincent College and Catholic College Bendigo. This milestone in the history of the College, was the first time that all past students, of all years, were invited back for a joint reunion.
The event began with Mass at St Kilian's to celebrate 130 years of Catholic education in Bendigo. Mass was celebrated by Fr Rom Hayes whose own connections with CCB go back more than 20 years. Members of the Coolock choir, directed by Mrs Cathy Moore, led the singing. St Kilian's Church has great significance in the history of CCB; being a major part of the life of Marist Brothers' College as well as St Kilian's Primary School whose history is intertwined with that of St Mary's.
After Mass, past students were invited to view the recently renovated Mercy Chapel at Coolock. For many, particularly former St Mary's students, this was the first opportunity they had had to see it since its transformation in 2006.
Later on that evening a Reunion Dinner was held at the Platinum Room, Foundry Arms Hotel where guests enjoyed looking at a selection of photos and meeting people from other Colleges. The earliest enrolled student attending was enrolled from 1934 to 1939 while the most recent, from 1995 to 2000.
2008 - Second Annual
The Marian Centre provided an inspirational backdrop for the past students returning to Catholic College Bendigo for the second All Colleges Annual Reunion on 26 April.
Past students of St Mary's College, Marist Brothers' College, St Vincent's College and Catholic College Bendigo were all invited to the annual event which included afternoon tea and a display of memorabilia in the Marian Centre. This was also the perfect opportunity for people to have a good look at the new building before celebrating Mass in the auditorium. Mass was said by Fr Rom Hayes, with music provided by Mrs Cathy Moore and the Coolock choir.
Later that evening, the Reunion Dinner was held at Silks which was attended by Alumni as diverse as a graduate of 2007 through to past students from the 1930s. It was inspiring to see the common ground that was found between people of diverse ages and occupations. A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all present and plans are underway for next year's event. Details will be posted here later in the year.
2009 - Third Annual
